Aliant leads industry evolution of broadband support services with launch of ‘Aliant Expert’

Customers to benefit from new, exclusive IP innovation in Atlantic Canada

 

MONCTON, NBAliant, Atlantic Canada's leading information and communications technology provider, announces the launch of an innovative suite of broadband support services known as ‘Aliant Expert’.  Aliant’s Internet customers are the first in North America to access these new help and support services.  Exclusive to Aliant, customers in Atlantic Canada can now access leading-edge tools to address a variety of technical issues.  Aliant Expert can also provide services remotely to customers and even dispatch help directly to their home.

  • Remote Expert - Our Remote Experts can remotely access and fix problems on a customer’s computer - which means customers no longer have to pack up their PC and head to a repair shop. Whether they need computer maintenance, a virus clean-up or to have their PC secured, we can conveniently solve the problem all in the privacy of their own home.
  • Home Expert - Our Aliant Home Experts can help customers hook up a home network, set up a new PC or install software – right in their home. With a promise for quick service and excellent value, Aliant will dispatch an expert directly to their home.  Currently available to customers in Halifax Regional Municipality, St. John’s and Moncton, further expansions of this service are planned for the coming months.
